        What our members say

“After having my second baby, I felt completely disconnected from my body, tired, sore, and unsure how to start moving again. The Postnatal Program at BASE gave me a safe space to rebuild my strength and confidence without pressure. The instructors genuinely cared, and having my baby nearby made it easy to show up. Six weeks later, I feel stronger, lighter, and like myself again.”
Emma, 34Postnatal Program (Body Confidence Comeback)
“When I joined BASE, I was exhausted, emotional, and frustrated by the changes in my body. Nothing I used to do for fitness felt right anymore. The Balance & Bloom program was exactly what I needed, gentle yet powerful. My energy, sleep, and mood have improved, and for the first time in years, I feel calm and confident in my body again. It's truly changed how I move through this stage of life.”
        Lisa, 47Balance & Bloom
“I was losing confidence in myself and my body after I had a fall and noticed everyday movements were getting harder. The Ageless Strength program at BASE helped me rebuild that confidence safely. My joints feel freer, my posture's improved, and I feel stronger.”
        Margaret, 62Ageless Strength
“I was so nervous for my first class, but I felt supported from the moment I walked in. Six weeks later, I've found my strength again.”

        Good to know

        Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be fit to start Pilates?

No! You don't need to be fit to start. Our classes are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. We guide you through every movement and offer modifications to suit your body. Most of our clients start with little to no experience.

        Are there good intro offers?

Yes, we offer a simple, beginner friendly way to get started: our 14 days Intro Pass (Unlimited Access). This allows you to try different classes, build confidence and find your routine. It's the best way to experience the studio before committing to a membership. Currently $69 for 14 days of unlimited classes.

Do you have a beginners course? I've never done Pilates before

Yes we do have a dedicated beginners course we run a few times throughout the year, however, you don't need to complete the course to begin. All of our classes are designed to be beginner friendly, with small class sizes (max 8), personalised guidance and clear instruction.

Do you have a Mums and Bubs class?

Yes. We run dedicated Postnatal Mums and Bubs classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:15am. Safe and supportive for postnatal recovery, designed to rebuild core and pelvic floor strength, completely baby-friendly. You're welcome to bring your baby along, no childcare needed.

Do you have classes for older people?

Yes! We offer dedicated classes for older adults through our Ageless Strength program, designed for those 65+ (or anyone wanting a gentler, supportive approach). Low impact, small and supportive, guided step-by-step. No experience needed. Email hello@basepilatescollective.com.au to organise a free trial class.

        Where do I park?

There is street parking available outside Tribe Wellness Co gym (we are located inside the gym) as well as free street parking. We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes early.

What do I wear to Pilates?

Comfortable activewear: leggings or shorts, a fitted top, tank or t-shirt, and grip socks (a must for safety and hygiene). If you don't have grip socks, we have them available in the studio.

What if I've had an injury or have pain?

Let us know before your class. Our instructors will guide you safely, modify exercises as needed and help you build strength without aggravating injuries. Many of our clients start Pilates to move better and reduce pain.

        I've never done Pilates before.

Perfect. Most of our members started exactly where you are.

        What do I wear?

Comfortable activewear. Grip socks are required and you'll get a free pair at your first class!

        Can I attend any class?

Your Intro Pass includes unlimited classes for two weeks.

        Is there a contract?

No. The Intro Pass is a one-off offer for new clients with no lock in commitment.

        Where are you located?

Inside Tribe Wellness Co, 25 Bishop Street, Jolimont WA. Free parking available.

        Do I need Pilates experience?

No. This program is beginner friendly and designed for women who may be completely new to Pilates.

        What if I feel nervous?

That's completely normal. Our classes are small, supportive and welcoming. You'll be guided every step of the way.

Is this suitable if I haven't exercised in a while?

Yes. The program is designed to help you start safely and build gradually.

How many women are in each group?

There are a maximum of 8 women per group so you receive proper support and guidance.

        What should I wear?

Comfortable activewear and Pilates grip socks. If you don't have socks, we can help you with these at the studio.

        Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! We'd love you to bring family or friends along. Just make sure each person books their own place.
